South Florida has long attracted individuals and companies in search of a tax and business-friendly environment and recently established itself as a top tech and financial hub. Additionally, foreign homebuyers continue to drive up demand in the area, with one out of every five U.S. international home sales taking place in Florida.
While price increases on residential and commercial real estate are expected to continue into the first quarter of 2022, more inventory coming on the market in the second quarter should provide some respite.
