This is a very popular location for avid boaters because it has no fixed bridges to the ocean and is only accessible by car via Karen Drive to Sunrise Key Blvd.

In Sunrise Intracoastal, you can find many different types of homes, including single-family homes, condos, apartments, and co-ops. The single-family home portion of Sunrise Intracoastal is very private as it is gated and only accessible by two streets in an effort to reduce drive-through traffic. The townhomes, condos, and co-ops are further inland, few with direct water access.
